Bronwyn Maloney is an artist and animator based in New York. She attended CalArts (MFA, Experimental Animation) and has been since been working independently on hand drawn animation and sound design. She has taught at CalArts, Pratt Institute, and Bennington College.
Her animated short Serpentine (2016) played film festivals across the US and Europe, including Slamdance, Anifilm, GLAS, LA Film Festival, and New Orleans Film Festival, where it received the Helen Hill Animation Award in 2018.
Her forthcoming film, Re Shannon (2024), is supported by the GLAS Animation Grant, Rooftop Films, and the Adrienne Shelly Foundation.
